COMMUNITY NORMS - SIMILAR TO #QOTO PROBABLY...

COMMUNITY NORMS - SIMILAR TO OR CAN BE USED FROM

(Originally for racial healing events and activities)

01
Our primary commitment is to learn from each other. We will listen to each other and not talk at each other. We welcome differences amongst us in backgrounds, skills, interests, and values.

02
Assume good intentions; but recognize impact; and emergently respond to harm.

03
Debate ideas, not the individual sharing the idea or practice.

04
Engage tension but do so with loving kindness to others & to self.

05
Step Up & Step Back. Be mindful of taking up much more space than others. On the same note, empower yourself to speak up when others are dominating the conversation.

06
Respect others' points of view (even when you think and believe differently).

07
Prioritize confidentiality. Share the lesson; hold the identity/story (What's said here stays here). Obtain consent.

08
Be a charitable listener. assume all you engage with have something to teach you.

09
Speak openly to your experiences, values, & perspectives.

Free is good, Free + participation is better...

'Free' of cost can also not be developed enough towards people participating in growing the mentality of whatever it is given free to people (so free+participation is more ideal here towards growing anything which is towards overall freedom or low cost mentality as part of freedom).

This is a subtle but MASSIVE difference - because when you can *allow* people easier routes to participate *with* you (almost anyhow) then you can grow a whole new stem rather than just gifting others more one-way and almost narrow-minded.

Participation (and the receiving) helps people keep *everyone* in the picture more and get better almost as a cycle in itself.

That overall cycle is formidable when many people go to it or do something. It can be very underrated as way of connecting and pumping people through it all.

Participation Experimenting

I dont know who needs to hear this.. but you can actually disagree with someone, have a debate, remain peaceful, and if you still disagree in the end you dont have to actually rage quit and block them. You can.... wait for it.... just disengage and walk away.

Not everyone has to agree with you about everything.

Blocking too easy... in sensitive conversations...

@freemo Blocking too easy... in sensitive conversations...

Kind of understand this blocking (or easy to trip blocking / 'sensitive' stuff) for the recipient,
even in occasional cases it's sincere they can't handle even the ok message to their ending conversation...

e.g. I get this often when letting people know I am thinking of unsubscribing / less following them (as I value them enough sometimes to put them on notifications 🔔 and get all their msgs notified to me) but they tell me I didn't need to tell them this (true) but they don't see it's because I wanted to stick with them for x (as usually I explain beforehand) more than getting abcdef...x

It almost like not wanting to build up or find more people, or get more - just broadcasting 1 way or staying small...

So people can get the wrong idea if not solid in themself basically

but /occasionally/ also thin margin /sometimes/ (if people are totally not looking to grow out of their shell or grow to other people) and in that case they enlightened by me somewhat it's not a 'rub your face in' message!

p.s #1 @freemo The quote doesn't go to your conversation naturally on clicking, so you could drop link where it was originally you were talking...

p.s #2 if you tell me anything in reply I will block you and take it as attempted contempt :)

Fediverse Users I Recommend:

☻ Gary Ackerman @garyackerman qoto.org/@garyackerman

☻ Zen Proverbs @abitofzen mastodon.online/@abitofzen

🌄 Both similar to each other but in their own different ways! ☸️

@garyackerman I agree in theory by disagree with that in reality and practice.

Factors of Time + Access to those people I think make it less realistic - unless it's doable somehow (like just a sample) but to /most/ leader or /most/ students hardly feasible, let alone willingness by any school, teachers or students.

What you're saying I agree in theory by disagree with that in reality and practice, because even with /quite/ friendly atmosphere you're up against many factors which severely limit understanding a school...

@claromes Let me know what you think of the idea of a small audio sound byte :)

(click this post for question I posed previously but you didn't reply!...)

Thanks :)

Everything had become quite immoral...

Everything had become quite immoral.

It is moral to take your own life.
Anyone that says otherwise simply does not feel it and how many hoops there now are and how little we want to jump for them and less and less gain (more and damage at the same time). Ugh...

@vingtroiseize Is it wrong to say I still use it :)

Injustice is not only when it comes to you.

I know it's hard when everyone is so busy mostly with a job, but it is just not sustainable (so without main focus on healing things, it just gets worse later)

John Wesley’s Manifesto.... [1-12]

1. Reduce the gap between rich people and poor people

2. Help everyone to have a job

3. Help the poorest, including introducing a living wage

4. Offer the best possible education

5. Help everyone to feel they can make a difference

6. Promote tolerance

7. Promote equal treatment for women
[I would add ' and historically discriminated or similar]

8. Create a society based on values and not on profits and consumerism

9. End all forms of slavery

10. Avoid getting into wars

11. Share the love of God with everyone
[I would add 'cosmos or atmosphere just to be a bit more neutral]

12. Care for the environment
[Allow people to share land and as caretakers rather than owners]

Example account: Self-triggering, insulting people, Click-bait...

@jeffowski So I was asking what you're line of all these memes was and instead you focus on me, and without answering much :thumbsup - not.

Measurably just hating and ignoring logic. You're not here to play at all it seems.

█ What is the point of you hating in extreme for what I mentioned with your posts without answering properly?
So yes older fables and stories can be terrible and yet principles can be more agreeable as memes suggest or inversely can teach...

so rather than just
mastodon.world/@jeffowski/1118

where the above is not great - as belief (if people believe or as as unclear meme) where you push "4 billion believe in cutting genitals and murdering their child"

...but I did comment on the other more clearer post which I agreed what was about 'legal# and what wasn't ...
mastodon.world/@jeffowski/1118

but it seems by this line of text you've probably lost the plot to your own life and your just spewing memes waiting just to react... self-triggering yourself when any logic comes along, not answer and insult... oh dear

Cunting people off isn't cool and you should mention that in your bio and spell it out and so already everyone can block you and your can block everyone as you're too obsessed already to hold 0 conversation probably believing in nothing and becoming nothing much yourself.

The pinned toots make more sense.
But average memes and I met shit poaster 8LD haters that made for deeper conversation than you.

It's not just what the bad people do, it's what the good people don't do... (learn about business / banks... unfairness, cheating etc!)...

@michaelgraaf @cda

█ Also learning what business means as an extension part of those at the top that don't care and actively disrupt things (even if any company extension or subsidiary cares) means it's all quite doomed

█ and carpet / rug pulled often / "well mis-managed" / defective-by-design / deliberately unfair etc

█ Even best company is setting itself up to get
- bought out,
- legally challenged (if doing a good enough job of making change in the world)
- staying unsatisfied
- over-achieving / forgetting it's customers or original places
- mixing with too many other types of market
etc....

Business is by-design many things... and I think many are too innocent to that...

█ putting a price on planet to begin with etc and losing liberties selling things and finding it more expensive to 'buy back'.

Obviously we have to get by but...
█ ignoring banking practices
█ pots of money disappear for 'mistakes' by reckless gamblers / speculators,
█ etc etc

...also is on us for even thinking opening a company name is going to be a WIN:WIN for life as an allowed game by cheaters...

@Radical_EgoCom Okay but most crime is committed by companies (e.g. more is stolen from people by banks, than vice versa). So do you pin a company's crime to an exec, or do you fine the company a proportion of its turnover?

Religion seen as beliefs, principles, ideal behaviour and actions mainly...

@jeffowski I think at the end if you're in humanity and a player (instead of non-player or almost 0 activity) then yes, but instead of 'religion' focus on the beliefs... to see religions can share same principles of "Don't not harm" etc

█ Principles that people can share █ and not just be Religion (as name and noun), but the more adjective version... as the name is xyz anything people think, but 'do not harm' as a basic belief (with further clarity accepted later) is generally okable and clear. 🆗 !

█ Careful: if you question things as just 'this' or just 'that', then you also make mistake in judging religion (or anything i.e. it's more than just this or that, it's made out of 'rules' or guidances and I believe the basics (like not doing harm) get people on the right track and it's a learning thing after all (not always just as a static 'religion') which is why 'religion' can accept others that are 'learning the way' for themselves and with others...

█ unless you are a non-player and expect perfection right off the bat and even when you are an adult...

█ Humans are Imperfect so doing this a nicer way is also important (many can't accept imperfection or got used to doing things like computers when we are not).

⬆️ Not bad points I'd say above. ⬆️

█P.S█
No answers post get you unfollowed on my side as it's simply not so useful being one-way and frankly almost as similar misleading people about religion as it saying any religion saying it's good just because of it's name, so you might be in same but the other side of spectrum posting these things and also not answering for them!
