Not virtue signalling here only, but practise of EVERYTHING as we go. Judged by getting in contact (many have) and having courage to communicate (or seeking it from others is ok, EVERYONE needs a bit of courage or hand-holding to make big personal changes). Who else is there for example if family doesn't understand?
Learning and watching can be good and staying out of people's way, BUT better is doing something every day and helping each other with some tough decisions / lessons... and then being bold enough to do them. 1... 2... 3 that is all that's needed.

One must have a strong will to save wood or anything one has a lot of and seemingly doesn't costs much to 'use a little more'.

Hard to say what was my favourite as memory and mediums changed / overwritten somewhat...
But characters and themes were always larger than life with Asterix and Obelix book / comics when younger anytime I saw them in school library or newspapers (anywhere else?).

Using the #fediverse is both like browsing and email. We can go look at whatever we want on here, but people can also tag us with whatever they want. This is what makes server level blocking/silencing complicated. We don't like anybody limiting what we can see, but we also don't want the world to be able to send endless shit into our inbox. A healthy fedi will be full of servers fully federated and dedicated to balancing these concerns for their users and the larger network. #fediblockmeta

a) yourself and people probably already know the above (consciously or not) prior to looking
b) but also I wonder why you might say it and are looking at potential crap!

In some way isn't he saying (or wouldn't it be a /general thought/) that people (nations) should work toward self-sufficiency more instead of taking from others what they can't pay (so not at first going extreme about DIY but less 'out-sourcing' (less buying / tying to external sources if you will) and more internal answer and using what they have?
This also addresses on even simpler terms (without the background of politics inferring here) that less debt is good- so not just running up bills and more DIY (and less abusing other nations too which Western world seems to have based / debased itself on).

Since that post I'm turbo-looking at protocols similar to RSS etc and even collecting just icons to be able to say to people on Fediverse that "this is what we need to do" for everything long-lasting.
So even if it's rug-pulled or bought out we can re-jig the simple content, move files and never lose them like in / on walled-garden online spaces...
Thanks for heads up and thinking about all my saved audio and similar 'enlightened' stuff (Alan Watts, clipped audio etc)... I might release a kind of FeeSchool TV for all this making myself the human interface that is needed around all of it (like a smaller Joe Rogan 🤣 🤣 but even more interactive).
