I like this one (is it your own?)

Wanted to even make a smart comment to compliment it but it's actually enough not to say anything :)

@ColinTheMathmo

Banks and DATABanks...

Banks are bad right? (not healthy for anyone / cheating people)

So then think DATABanks and storage online doing the same thing.

Oodles of oogles as default search engine also not so good
BAD DATABANK... (even if you think you need them!)

Search less.

GIVE US GOOD WORK TO DO!... How to harness good people's skills from far?

Looking for the answer because some of us (at least I) am getting bored... GIVE US GOOD WORK TO DO!
Ideally towards practising improving language and relationships so eventually more people are nicer and understand other people!

More technology without improving Mentality? No.

Hard for me to say it...
(but I'm also living by this...)

- Put all the fancy toys down.
- Start improving people.

People practising people - no escaping this if you want to solve things.

The nobodies... [Quote by Eduardo Galeano]...

The nobodies: the no-ones, the nobodied, running like rabbits, dying through life, screwed every which way. Who are not, but could be. Who don’t speak languages, but dialects. Who don’t have religions, but superstitions. Who don’t create art, but handicrafts. Who don’t have culture, but folklore. Who are not human beings, but human resources. Who do not have faces, but arms. Who do not have names, but numbers. Who do not appear in the history of the world, but in the crime reports of the local paper. The nobodies, who are not worth the bullet that kills them."

Thought it was interesting and just to ponder about...

Ok. Another quote in 2008 Galeano said:

" The White House will be Barack Obama's house in the time coming, but this White House was built by black slaves. And I’d like, I hope, that he never, never forgets this "

ANY survey or stats is going to be +/- of who/how many etc... Would help if everyone wrote there own manifesto to show each other along the way and match them up!...

@jwildeboer

My manifesto for example below and biases :)

freeschool.0id.org/manifesto/

I think the world is going to need to ask everyone about everything and has to accept that from people without manipulating them and while valuing their life and perhaps trying to keep everyone alive in order to do that! (probably earth has enough resources if we get taxed less and mispend less)

True politics / less bias perhaps when you clear bad dependencies or deal with pre-construct :) Sooo hard....

(also imagine if there were more in "oppose no FB/insta" then one might be tempted to conclude it's less biased- it's surely it's a tough call using these tools or not as anything narrow can be +/-/~ and seems to lose sapience UNLESS it's done really really well
...and not paid / done for the dark side!!!)

@jwildeboer

Do another fundraiser!

They are pioneering rebellion!

And make sure stuff can't get seized somehow (like the gofundme money or petrol they confiscated).

Putting a lock on everything or having a way making it hard for them when they decide to raid,

Money is worth much less than the face value...

Money is worth less than the face value because someone always pays to borrow it. At the start they pay a fee or continually pay now as 'interest'.

So money becomes worth less and less from beginning of 'buying' it AND less value as time goes on.

What money you hold is worth less than it says! (And getting less...)

The 'face' value (what's written on material) is changing in reality.
Physical numbers don't changing in your have and cheat you accordingly.

The average person doesn't realise money is leaking.
From their pocket, money is designed to be drawn by the centralised banks and government using fees and %'s they continually charge and change.

100 now, after becomes 60..50..40..20.. as time goes on!

% x time = less money

Indeed money is as 2-faced as the government and banks that allow it.
Because it's deliberate and deceptive to make you think 100 is 100.
In your hand is getting less and less !
When you look at the number but it's actually 50 after while and then even less.

This system (maths to depreciate) keeps Banks in power.

The power of fees and % added reduces the number of money you think you have.

Money is mostly confidence in Money...

... there is a bit more to it but it can just layers added on top of this basic confidence that it's worth something only because once it was *maybe* worth something physically (gold etc but now not)!

So now it's mostly insert between other things... or on top, or as a gate etc... but still confidence is main thing otherwise it could be sea shells / stones if really we were that confident in it (and of course money has the control in printing and remote devaluation so but overall I mean about confidence - we ASSUME somewhat based on what we see but if the other person would give you a piece of paper saying "THANKS" then on some level or even better because technically money is worth less than the face value because someone is still paying % for it / or gave it to someone else with %!)

I think relativity in participation appeals more now until I happen to find the connection otherwise it's mostly so-so and still have t o contact some od the FOSDEM speakers for audio chats (loose friendly interviews)
e.g. Debian developer below...

freeschool.0id.org/debian-deve

So if I can do some audio editing / interviews or any remote work then just send me a list
or send me a person I can talk to so we can just jump into Jitsi Meet to get things rolling in instant chat... e.g meet.jit.si/chataboutworkingfo

Computers – Why We Like Them So Much + Cory Doctorow (recommended)...

I recommend this and my work added because it show some basics and what it might come back to - we love our toys right?

freeschool.0id.org/computers-w

Audio TRANSCRIPT on this page also has version for reading / learning

+ Cory Doctorow's account as it's not his name (so harder to find) but that's ok his GREAT WORK finds itself in places.

Genius! =

Productivity but in terms of in between breaks... reasons why... lichess.org

This *might* mean you feel you are not good since often regular chess players can accept it's too deep and to play to find new ways etc (it's not about winning).
So as games go it cam be throw-away / time killer / not the deep kind of chess that many consider it - it's more like chopping a tree and knowing tree is not going to fall but serving it's purpose in the doing / practise...

@freemo

Bday post (this the only way I can mark image sensitive in Masto app) derp

I think cakes are overdone... but this contrast of whole strawberry and cream is still eye candy for me :) Yum...

And back to my sweetcorn and potatoes cooking,..

@stux

@ColinTheMathmo That's why I'm working on relationships - everything is no good without warm relationships and work processes.

Once again I am reminded that there are people I would not only never choose to work with, but I would actively choose never to work with them.

They may produce good work, but their attitudes are intolerable. I can only hope they would say the same of me.

Feel good I think because it means he's doing something that is making a change / working against oppression!....

@freemo

Those against need to take action so that's why I say be happy for that (it's also a stage of progress and mental combat) !

Jo Rogan stuff works (just listening to the Wim Hoff audio episodes #712 + 865)

Side-comment: Had my usual outside shower with bucket which reminds me of him - I'm probably an average next to him!

@freemo

Often new is not good... Because of the mixed ways and mentality of business which does things...

@maltimore

,,, doing things now means doing in over-clever ways (ignoring other things / miscalculating - mostly the intended non-innocent ways) now that it can.

Example - make things obsolete or 'old' to spin and push supply chain up

(it's indirect force)

Although in case of TOR perhaps it really is security and safety instead of what business and gov advertises when making changes / revisions and forcing the latest / not tolerating the 'old'.
