I help people create audio / edit educational audio / podcast / music / visual short videos / transcript text
+ I like to add a bit humour while being quite strict in my own politics (opinions) but open / inviting for others to tell me what I should do if they can explain more than just a short comment (I don't mind it's healthy for me at least if you have logic and can stand yourself explaining).
FreeSchool is about Learning towards Freedom (which is about Uniting everyone slowly, even "1 by 1"... Easy with The Fediverse!
Not virtue signalling here only, but practise of EVERYTHING as we go. Judged by getting in contact (many have) and having courage to communicate (or seeking it from others is ok, EVERYONE needs a bit of courage or hand-holding to make big personal changes). Who else is there for example if family doesn't understand?
Learning and watching can be good and staying out of people's way, BUT better is doing something every day and helping each other with some tough decisions / lessons... and then being bold enough to do them. 1... 2... 3 that is all that's needed.

I'm usually impressed with my media gallery as I work on posts a lot usually or hit the "Aha!" moments and capture it (other people may forget it for years, not me!).
Freedom is about *making it work together* better like using #Mastodon on the #Fediverse daily for better platforms with more #bestpractices and 'best' people to help us which I kind of collect here and

Naturally you will hesitate if someone is sure of themself or ok standing on shoulders what we copy do the best from humbly but not too sterile either.
Based on just emotions ruins almost everything, which seems very common - very ungraceful - so don't disconnect... do it gracefully at least!

Even a bad answer you can take best from (of course I won't know all your situation when I suggest something but I don't need to answer 100% - you also need to help me!).

Summary:
Anyone who would like to convince me that something with banks and governments involves is non-political...
So this it's about listening to you more than convincing here (though do try by yourself)... no tricks or big contention. Why do you think STEM is far away from politics when regulated by the same things that messes up other things (wouldn't it makes sense you can't see it if it's by the same 'bastard' people doing bad work consistently in everything gov / banks --> profit / exploitation etc)

So 'the glitch' (ignoring "money is neutral" or it's trillions blown into space) is that if you think STEM is non-political or non-governed somehow or unaffected then think again. Thinking that list of things mentioned before have nothing to do with anything else (much like you see in software if you were to say the same thing) OF COURSE IT'S POLITICAL!
I have to accept how 'far out' that is to say otherwise by I can't let that slide from such a cat lover / software person etc...
Again some basic lines, not trying to convince you - you might be too far but imagine:
-Government is political (wants to rule people / don't really care / are in it for the tax etc)
plus
-Banks funding is political / most profitable in the bad way(s) reciprocal to Government
What from that makes you think anything is exempt!?
(literally from mainly those two things, as human nature but much further exploited, evolved and incremented = ' systems ' = the mentality (= space race / space exploration)
How can you trust anything today being peaceful?
And from that all controlled mentality also all else 'stems' out (literally Science, Tech, Engineering, Mathematics) as the first in war... innocent as they sound have the same 0 or 1 running though it (like everything else for power or profit maximising)
It may seem too fine to judge them to be financially fascist (by those totally ignorant or those governments doing things without consent) all but those past mentalities and previous decisions (scams / scandals etc)

In the attention economy, jokes don't go as viral or get the engagement that claims to have found "hidden truths" do. That's the game most of these alt media folks are playing. It's about entertainment, not journalism. They don't care about the public being better informed.
If you're demonised by your structure constantly then it's hard to do much good other than find a way to fix that (while trying to do good in a cheating / bad / system).

ff in that state really was peak browser for around half a year until the bullshit feature removals started.

Well, you can already manually backfill one post at a time if you copy-paste the URL of a post into the search box on your server.
For example, if you copy paste the URL of a PeerTube video in a search box on Mastodon, that video will become visible to that server (if it wasn't already).
There's no limit on manual backfilling as far as I know. It's only a question of what kind of automatic backfilling there could be, because most don't want to manually backfill posts one at a time.

I'm not comfy usnig GitHub so yes I'd take you up on a thumbs up for:
- backfilling with last 10 posts if not infinite scroll / page pagination
or at least
- a notice to say 'More on the server' (or something similar) IF platform doesn't want to backfill
Though I have to admit I stopped going to pages non-native to mastodon as they often *don't* support older browsers for such simple messages... (at least should have a basic version for older browsers instead of almost blank page)
