I should ask more the context and then write more, so treat this as a bit of practice for me as I agree but generally try more than less.

Because it's natural to deal with a person from wherever they are coming from... in various moments,,. over an "Internet".

So a lot of this below is about Human psychology but also some gems starting with █ which is what I see as part of it all....

█The time and where to look is sometimes also the main thing -
human psychology on top of that in crazy ways.

█I'd say there is a lot of truth in not supplying more info or energy to the wrong / uninterested people because they can just tangent further and badly, perhaps as a form of time-waster jealousy... or they are trying to find something badly (trouble shooting or critique in the wrong way) or trying to find what isn't there as it sounds too good. But good to see this pattern a bit before judging.
As mini-leaders of thought, good to give them a bit of personal candy else they resort to spamming also in the end.

I do see from the past that they make bullshit reasons _from_ *what we give them*....

█BUT THAT IS US, AS HUMANS- somewhat! If it's the malicious types ok fine not that - but the natural normal or unskilled is that we hear a word, we take the bad part first, we get defensive, we get triggered (a whole list you will yourself trip on one)... and then we / you need to work back to that tangential trip and continue the correct node (like a therapist would go back and adjust and align things remembering where you went wrong. (Yes life is all a therapy thing)

And less on Fediverse (even the bad one's you know from the avatar that makes you think you know already what they are about - they are ok mostly - and at least they are genuine to themselves or to their creativity somewhat)

█So before judging tooo much or considering it too much time in having a bit of human adjustment, the personal time can make all the difference...

almost not leaving them to depth of the net too just to make sure they are not further a victim / going to echo-chambers.

█ Also too many talk "with" computers than with humans

(there is a big difference and that therapy stuff I mentioned can be coming out of the computing 'perfection' and perfect porn it is pressing keyboard and getting exact response..... Nooo not humans! Time to enjoy that and continue with positives and increment negatives at the same time.)

█It's not always easy and simple with a million links to search political stuff to answer or narrow it down (it's ok for apps to find and download app but not sure finding out what you mean or political things is simple at all - so prepping something earlier or as people ask helps.

█Heard someone say Wikipedia is less reliable which surprised me and I was only using that sometimes! But yeah I guess Wiki links and facts are ok for existing things but more complicated = issues in communication between people (therefore politics and eventually accept all people are imperfect and accept imperfection).

█So Yeah back to this post more I agree with Chris's reply (and you in many scenarios) that having it clear, for many reasons can suit us all well in the end... and mostly it's the time or will on our side with diminishing returns perceived (seemingly or I agree it all is- but this is all we have too at the same time without devaluing myself too easily either - I don't want to serve capitalism and think I'm doing better)

I imagine people don't do things because it takes time (let alone time to bigots) and other subtle things there (misconceptions etc).

But if it were a copy and paste thing for you, say to 1 webpage (like a FAQ or Wordpress searchable thing) THEN it's a kind of game changer where you not trying too hard to manually do things and less of an issue *whoever* it is. Work is done prior, as opposed to "on-the-fly" which can be hard for machines and humans!

Mastodon search allows us to do work and then reference it THAT IS AMAZING. Maybe in future allowing certain people to search all post but yeah I can search now and give you a link to everything I've covered which is a lot!!

█Good people are also psychologically scared / scarred if they think so or not (the human condition) and can be all over the place with comms (emotions, logic, neither) so I think the method or easy of use does change the whole dynamic which might be represented as you and them as:

▀▄ "No I don't want to spend time on you" / "Not another one to explain to" and becomes "I already did this for someone before, take a look at my personal link or search this keyword here"

and then also for them it goes from:

▀▄"I can't handle searching 10 more unclear further political links and it's cookies and ads... I want more your side (because I respect you / think your ALMOST perfect but won't tell you) so give me something that covers it without sponsored ads and paid-people influence" (etc)
- it's all valid and we all get to that stage even with the will to try... takes us days to do it sometimes.

█So while I've personally been maybe wasting time with many people as FreeSchool-ing people goes I have ways that is literally seconds so it's no problem and I'm doing other things at the same time I enjoy. I can get that image or link I need now in seconds

So easy way = easy 'conversion' of people.
Many level of person needs hand holding - sometime the experts more- to do or find out why not, because as human psychology goes:
*We don't do things for many reasons* !

We don't go to the gym
but with friend we do or on the 3rd invite just go... And soon enough are trying to get everyone to go.

█Example, so you see how exactly I know and can catch it: I was not watching sportsman for years thinking they were not good and therefore not downloading their stuff but almost all other stuff... and then realising later he's one of the best MMA / UFC fighters and I should have been following him too (just in general or specifically as martial artist).
I've almost been watching all *but* his stuff JUST BECAUSE he has an X in his surname!!
I thought he wasn't good quite because of these aesthetics!...

The example is just a small part of what it could be.

I know even experts have this inversely proportional challenge for themselves (more of 'this' knowledge or skill, but less 'trust' in themself or others and therefore detrimental distance). Seems so simple but they can't accept even though they might even know better. I get this with privacy people who still get stuck in wanting to know all about someone and focussing on doubting them instead :]

Yes I try with everyone,
knowing it's not personal... IT'S HUMAN :)

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL us all (paradoxes to fix, tragedy of life to live out, born that way stuff).
Just needs a way to make it more pleasurable.

MY SOLUTIONS (might not be to you or suject here)
█One page / searchable curated version by what I / we already do or have learned is a lot better.
█A dedicated volunteer who loves batting flies nicely knowing "it's not just customers fault" lol.

Literally before I had a Wordpress site and it was like they got it more often! Put keyword in and you get my principles and picture in that. Done. Even the titles of posts said it all (much like my posts here)

And if not if not real reason then I could just leave it as "said" with proper string left for them to pull / come back to me about / site to search alone. Often people need counter-part as a way to battle (and learn) but eventually we learn to learn together.

Fuck this is wise.

Worse is leaving unskilled people to do yet more unskilled work and yes chop wood for them asking them to carry or find something else (not always sending them away).

A lot of net and even searching stuff I believe is BS itself (measurably crap nowadays) and almost I don't blame others for not trying. I almost "don't do it" because even searching shows there is political influence and distraction... and more than ever every action has million more B$ links to go astray with...

AND how I keep going is even to get ideas from 'them' too which helps simplify (not for them but yeah also dummies guide where it's near impossible for them to upgrade their brain's firmware).

How's this for example of hydrating constantly / liquid food?
(see pic for BIG Soup Pot (to elbow deep) Vegetables - Constantly Hydrated for months now - adding whatever too.

We are mostly water after all, so a bit of flavour and you can eat less AND keep warm without as much solids which you can adjust how much according to how you feel (potatoes almost only as solid for me!).

Serious anti-capitalism / more liquid nutrition soaking everything for longer time, I do have it like tea with more of a flavour yeah :)

When you have time, you can literally solve/* anything.

/* solving = start solving
(perfectionism etc not needed or wanted!). "1-shot kills" as solutions not always healthy or enabling for others which we need to involve.

Q. Any way to increase pinned post number more than 5 on profile?

People also look at Toot *and* Replies a lot so I want more of my best at the top on just Toots section.

If people can't imagine freedom or trying together, then you put yourself in jeopardy from lack of it and lack of clarity in yourself with others. Believing enough is important.

If you and 1 person can imagine your own potential or just theirs, then you can make steps towards it. Casual and dedicated.

A Gandhi or Theresa might help as image and icon but it less and less unneeded when reality has you and me in. We have these shoulders we stand on already so not that tough but to accept the problems learning each other a bit as we go.

Fear not! We stand on great works already, and yes as long as I'm not for XYZ President (or whatever triggers) then all will be well :) but do consider great people had great flaws too...

Usually the basic recipe as that it should be quite fun and quite testing to avoid stagnation and to literally chase freedom like it's love itself.

Imagine that a different world is possible and then there is a chance you or others will do something towards it. Don't be paranoid about anonymity or other people's preferences because good work still works inside that (and maybe should so isn't taken down).

Without imagining, there is very little chance. And sometimes the opposite if you're not careful.
