Why are GIF files shown as MP4 videos (OR it says gif in bottom left of uploaded Fediverse media but plays as MP4 source)... I'm not sure what it was originally uploaded as but still doesn't match label of gif in bottom left...

About not talking about your name (and similar deep topics)...

So I wanted to cover this before I forget and it's always been super-important to understand when someone say "no" but in a polite way and to see it's not always they are being rude or hiding something (though it can be they don't trust you and are saying I need time or 100 other things and "it's deeply political, I generally never care for names and like nicknames etc better"

So "what my name is" to other can feel too even though it's like the 1st thing people ask!

As I feel similar in other things I though I'd better cover this because relativity is there - also a lack of clarity on my part I see or others (much of FreeSchool is my expression BUT to save people time and say "THIS IS IT - THIS IS WHAT I MEAN" or ask me and I'll search what I have in the 'feelings' department I operate in a lot ... (others more in the physical spaces).

So I would like to know how you would explain to someone about this part of not wanting to talk about it if that applies to you...

If you can't follow someone due to incompatible instance / block servers (other instance may have blocked due to a few users or politically) - you can still follow users using this way...

Add those people to a list (Subscribe via RSS)... I think this is the way or simplest how to say it

One must have a strong will to save wood or anything one has a lot of and seemingly doesn't costs much to 'use a little more'.

Asterix and Obelix comic and themes...

Hard to say what was my favourite as memory and mediums changed / overwritten somewhat...

But characters and themes were always larger than life with Asterix and Obelix book / comics when younger anytime I saw them in school library or newspapers (anywhere else?).

+ Ethnic Stereotypes sections isn't too far off my cultural experience or just plain really similar to all cultures with sub-types of people ! Might be seen as racist or hard to accept in these political time but least harmful is this:

(my conclusion to why people would go back to looking for more of the bad stuff)

MASTODON TO SHOW and defend (a bit) that scraping user data is not ok? (A 'no consent' disclaimer or sign somewhere?)

Mastodon should / could at least attempt to discourage sites from data scraping by putting a sign and notice (in the footer for example?)

At least something to say to Google or other sites that this behaviour is not what Mastodon is for and its users are not allowing / wanting it UNLESS THEY SAY.

ℹ️ Also Eugene not wanting to encourage using better links for Mastodon (like instead of youtube links the option to use yewtu.be instead - so that milions of links FROM MASTODON are less Googlified (LESS $ AND DATA TRACKING) - so not being interested is a worry and future thing I think we need to use now
(Invidious and other software if you don't know is the same but blocks bad code and filters adverts from EXACTLY the same pages)
