An interesting social question about 2023 is whether language models will create the same kind of bitter polarized climate that now surrounds #aiart. I suspect they will, although IP may not be the flashpoint in the same way because captions aren't central for #LLM. (So author names aren't as central.) But still when jobs are disrupted, people get angry.
