This morning, Premier #DougFord says 2 parcels of previous Greenbelt land in Ajax that are currently being flipped by a developer *may* be "put back into the #Greenbelt."

So, just a few weeks after the #AuditorGeneralReport unveiled the Premier's billion-dollar real estate swindle, Ford thinks walking back 107 acres is going to "make this thing go away?"

#DougFord not only cancelled cap and trade, he fought carbon pricing right up to the Supreme Court of #Canada, ripped out EV charging stations, cancelled the law requiring new homes to include wiring for charging EVs, tore down wind turbines..
And he wreaked all this (and more) environmental havoc using taxpayers dollars.

If people want to understand the role of oil companies in the climate denial campaign I highly recommend the podcast "Drilled" where Amy Westervelt interviews former Exxon Renewable Energy Lab engineers about how they closed the lab in the 1980's when they determined that renewables would put oil out of business, and then diverted the funds to advertising Climate Denial. Spoiler - it worked.

Three groups — "Fridays for Future", "Fight Fossil Fuels", and "End Fossil Fuels USA" — are teaming up to stage mass climate protests and strikes all around the world next month.
