Hoy es el día europeo de la prevención del cáncer de piel. Recordad que hay que usar protectores solares y no votar a partidos que pretenden suprimir la sanidad pública universal.

Both this Spiny Starfish (Marthasterias glacialis) and this Cushion Star (Asterina gibbosa) have lost arms and are managing with only 4 each - luckily they have the ability to grow their missing limbs back. County Clare, Ireland.

Thank you Professor! That's a great recommendation! I will read it for sure. I think it's impossible to say that we've done everything, since we don't know everything. A succession of events is exactly how I think #chronobiology these days. Time is an intriguing #mystery.
@freepeoplesfreepress Indeed! I'm glad to hear from you, Ms. Andrews! Thank you!

Hello, I’m a composer who works primarily in theatre. At the start of the pandemic my mom got cancer and the doctors told us she should eat organic to avoid pesticides. Since even organic-labeled produce can contain pesticides I decided to grow an organic garden. My posts here will be my #music #gardening #cooking #organic food. Here are a few pics from my kitchen as a means of #introduction. #introductions

On the other hand, here we can't edit a publication and it has the quotes button. I don't know if it's good. In the end, I think the perfect instance will only exist if we create it.😂
Still don't know. I'll probably keep just one in the future. The dynamics of instances in fediverse seems complex to me. I think this quest for high activity is a behavior I'm trying to avoid. I'm looking for a cleaner home that I look at every 4 hours and have little activity but better quality. The local line here in qoto.org seems a little messy but we have the feature to add favorite domains, so I can easily keep track of the local line of multiple instances. I like this because if I want to read posts from other topics, I can find them more easily by knowing the right instance.

This is a really fascinating Nature article about finding the tallest known tree in the #Amazon -- 88.5m.
Beautiful drone imagery and visualizations.

I never know what to #write in this #introduction thing. Maybe because I don't really know who I am or maybe I'm a mixture of many things.
Anyway, my name is Gustavo and I live in #Jundiaí, the city of #grapes, in #Brazil. I am currently a #PhD student in #biochemistry and the #question I am trying to answer is:
Is it possible to use the knowledge of the #plant #circadianclock to increase the efficiency of #weedmanagement in #sorghum crop?
At the same time I trying to answer what is #time?
In between, I make #music and #dance to the #rhythms of #life. It's like @neilhimself says in his profile: "It is too late now!"
And that's it! I joined this instance because I like the #idea behind questions. @freemo seems to have created something special here. Thanks!
It will be a pleasure to meet you all!
