Threads chegou do jeitinho que o povo gosta: fácil de fazer uma conta, mantendo os verificados de celebridades e subcelebridades, com ternos tão abusivos que a União Europeia não permitiu o lançamento lá. Eles estão lançando no resto do mundo para FORÇAR a aprovação da União Europeia. É essa a briga dos caras, não com instâncias nanicas do Mastodon. Duvido que eles federem com todas as instâncias. Porque eles querem forçar o uso do algoritmo aqui.

Lots of discussion lately about Threads. I find all the talk kind of exhausting, I don't come here to talk about a different platform. And it's a really hard word to mute because that filter would also catch stuff relating to just, regular post threads.

Could people please put it under a CW so that it can at least be easily ignored? Thanks!

You don't need to use the official Mastodon apps, they're not the best way to use Mastodon. The official apps only arrived last year, and they were intended as "Fisher Price My First Mastodon" things with a restricted set of features.

Third party apps have been around longer than official ones, and include way more features. You can sign in with the same account on all apps.

On Android try Tusky, Fedilab, Megalodon, Tooot

On iPhone/iPad, try Toot!, Ice Cubes, Ivory, Mona
