Do y'all know of any instances that'd be good for PoC writers?

I'm thinking scholar.social or perhaps writing.exchange?

Hello UK! I’m tired but excited to get ready for my London stage debut in Allegiance, which is based on my real life story and experience in U.S. internment camps during World War II. #NeverForget

I have questions. Seems like we're about to fight for the soul of community, again. Those of us who are old enough to remember the beforetimes (pre #SocialMedia), this 'post dot news' idea sounds grand, but is it more of the same? A new algorithm rises? Algorithms are anathema to #community. Eventually sold? I'll reserve judgement, but... am I missing something, here? Apart from ceding control ONCE AGAIN? Where do creators go? So many have bridled at #Mastodon already.

I wonder if Stable Diffusion or DALL-E will be able to catch up?

Seems we are still in a minor surge right now.. just checked and current influx is about 2x the normal background rate...

Hey all. Been speaking to @futurewas8bit today and have decided to give this another go. Looks like I cant move to oldbytes yet so still on the main feed. But I am going to be here and no longer active on the Bird Site. It's just too toxic for me now.

There have been some excellent contenders put forward in the last couple of weeks, but I think today we can declare #SpaceKaren as the winner of all Musk nicknames.

Looking to rebuild the #RetroComputing list I built “over there”. Specifically, starting with #8bit #Acorn computer related accounts…
