This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

There’s nothing I can add that’s funnier than the headline.
@georgetakei Santa is defo Latino.
@obi Happy Holidays when you find someone crazy enough to allow themselves to be happy? 😉
@chris yeah I’m told. I’ll give it a go later.
OK. Played Fortnite with my son for the first time, duos and we got a victory!!! I can’t understand the building at all. But I can aim. 😅 #gaming

I don't know what it is about Christmas Eve, but I love to pull out my retro tech especially on this special day.
On this eve of something new, I like to appreciate what came before.

My response rates for polls on Twitter were 1-2%.
On Mastodon, it's 15-20%.
Twitter and Facebook throttle our natural engagement with our friends and family and colleagues.
They do it so brands will buy ads to reach people who already follow them.
I didn't realise how pronounced the effect is.
I'm angry.
For years, my connection with the people I care about has been diminished, intentionally, to support a losing advertising scheme.
I want that time with my friends and family back.
@PixelBandits OMG! I’m in tears 😂😂😂😅💀

@gruifor Physicist here. Inside the batteries are very small hamsters running in very small hamster wheels. Spinning the battery about its axis makes the wheels turn a little, which stirs the hamsters to run some more.

When you have a device (e.g., remote control) that's low on battery power, why does turning the batteries around a bit actually seem to help sometimes in squeezing a bit more energy out? 🤔 #physics #electronics #chemistry
