Modern retro computing problems: don't put floppy disks on the palm rests of your new MacBook Pro... they will get very much erased! I learned the hard way that there are some dang powerful magnets in there for the speakers! Thankfully the disk didn't have any unpreserved data.

I've been mainly playing #HaloInfinite and #Fortnite. They are very different games, Halo kind of draws you in with that one more go feeling, it is the gameplay that keeps you going.
Fortnite is more about, wanting to progress along the Battle Pass. They've done very well naming it addictive!

Since the US banned our Hawaiian language, it nearly went extinct. Less than 100 kids spoke it in the 80's. Kids are STILL punished for speaking Hawaiian today.
The fact we've 30,000+ Hawaiians speakers now is testament to our struggle to preserve our culture from eradication.

@ChrisPirillo in the UK a cookie and a biscuit are not the same thing. A cookie is chunkier, softer, and more appetising than a simple hard biscuit.
@JoshuaACasey if I had seen it, it likely means it is overt and pervasive. I’ve not seen it on Facebook or Twitter either… so again, if it were overt and pervasive here, I wouldn’t be here.

I spent some time with #ChatGPT, working to write a fantasy story that had some gaming elements. Here's the transcript.
