This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

What did you play tonight? I played some #HaloInfinite two perfects in one game isn’t bad considering that a couple of weeks ago I was struggling to get 3 in a week! #gaming

Lol, the first big anti-AI lawsuit claims that that AI art models “store compressed copies of copyright-protected training images” and then “recombine” them; functioning as “21st-century collage tool.” 🙄
Do they actually believe this, or is it just FUD?
@Geekymary I guess Sega does what Nintendo does. 🤷♂️

Having used Linux for something like 25 years, I think there's just one immutable rule: don't even bother learning the syntax of the firewall tool, they're gonna replace it in two years anyway.

Latest repair. A Toshiba T3200SX. It's a 16Mhz 386 laptop with a rather lovely VGA compatible plasma display. Needed a few things fixing & upgrading...

The #SteamDeck isn’t perfect for #HaloInfinite against real people. But it is great for practising against bots, specially using #gyroaiming using #SteamInput. Mapped to mouse is better than right stick. This game badly needs native gyro support and weaker aim assist.
Im at the ice rink and there’s a big ice skating comp in the rink next door. I’ve seen team GB, USA, Finland, Australia. #skating #iceskating
@CarRamrod I hadn’t played Halo since Halo 2! This game got me back into first person shooters.
@izqrdo ¿porque no? Aquí a allá es lo mismo. 😄 estoy viendo, pero voy a dormir pronto.
@lubrio jajaja así es.

A friend of mine has a #FranklinAce500 #AppleII clone. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I picked up a Franklin monitor at the thrift store this morning. Decided to give it to him to complete his setup...
But I had to test it myself first...

@wandy_dev it got me into modern games. I never stoped playing 8 but games, but I hadn’t been into new games in years till Stadia came along.
