This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Retro Briters! A question.
Going to buy a light for winter retrobriting. Any opinions on UV lights vs Fulls Spectrum lights?

🧡 Starting as a news site dedicated to #Stadia content, we wouldn't be here today. For that, and many other reasons, Stadia will always hold a special place in our gamers hearts.
As we say goodbye to the cloud gaming platform that introduced many of us to this way of enjoying video games, some of our contributors want to share their memories.
You can find all of our editorial posts in this thread. Also, feel free to share your stories! 👇
#Stray is one of the nicest games I've played in a while. And yeah, this is a #SteamDeck screenshot.
@Rudiggz My money is on Minecraft making it :D GTAV may die as soon as a new GTA is out and even though battle royal games are dying if one survives for over a decade I think it will be Fortnite. :)

My wife Sarah firmly out on the picket line at the Christie Hospital in Manchester earlier today. 💪
She loves her work as a nurse so much, but she’s ruined after every 13+ hour shift being run ragged trying to care for more patients than is safe. With no breaks. Lucky if she gets to go to the toilet. It’s not on.
Oh and did anyone say, the pay is also pitiful. Small wonder they can’t recruit more nurses.
@moviemorgz@laserdisc.party perfectly evil!
@trinsec not even AI can kill chess.
I think I have figured out what Twitch is. A Twitch stream is an IRC channel with a master of ceremony. #gaming
3 old #games that may "never" die:
1) Minecraft: I just don't see it going away in the next decade at all, this game will keep on going and going and going.
2) Fortnite: Some would say that Fortnite peaked in 2018, and that it is no longer culturally relevant but the reality is that it is making a lot of money and more and more kids play it. I just cannot see Fortnite going away for over a decade either even if it isn't the game that everyone talks about anymore.
3) Grand Theft Auto V: I have no idea why this game continues to be popular, but at this stage it would be foolish to bet against it. This game will probably be here for over a decade.
Sad day, #Stadia may be gone but It won’t be forgotten. A very interesting in chapter In #gaming history. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-64293595

This might be an unpopular #gaming opinion, but after owning a #SteamDeck for a little while it is mostly a console. #SteamOS really is a #Linux distro that’s close to totally gaming centric. #linuxgaming
@apt I've tried it with my ChromeBook. Works fine. Will try with Steam Deck at some point.
So I upgraded one #Stadia controller to Bluetooth, super easy :)
