@ContraryRhombus it is soooo good! My only issue with it is the small population which leads to long wait times, if it weren’t for that I’d play it a lot more.

One of the games I'm most looking forward to is the Splitgate followup from 1047 Games. In w rold where is on shaky ground and arena shooters are few and far between this could potentially be a saviour.

Vampire Survivors may be basic, but it is such a fun game!

I've heard great things about this one - trying out Streets Of Rogue on #SteamDeck.

@benjedwards I totally agree, if used carefully and double checked they can really help. I’ve started using it to help me compose emails.

What I think most people don’t get is that generative AI models are communication tools

They will help people share ideas faster and with more detail, accelerating communication

They are an innovation in a continuum with the telegraph, telephone, radio, TV, and the Internet

@rodhilton you make a valid point. Dying with dignity could br arguably better than calling for an ambulance nowadays.

Twitter's API was a competitive differentiator; taking it away is yet another gift to mastodon's success.

The very first time Netflix blocks a device and they tell me to call customer service, I'll just cancel instead because that's at least automated.

It's 2023, if you don't know that we'd all rather die than call customer service then you haven't had to call any customer service in the last 3 years.

I'd be reluctant to call 911 over a stab wound at this point, they're going to tell me they're experiencing a higher than usual wait times then keep me on hold 2 hours before disconnecting me.

With the demise of the Twitter API I've been thinking about of rites of passage. Back in the day, a developer’s first big project was often times to write a text editor. Similarly in the opening years of the mobile decade, the first app that you tended to build was a Twitter client. #Twitter #API #TwitterAPI #IoT #PhysicalComputing aallan.medium.com/a-rite-of-pa

@DethAlive Stadia may be gone, but it will not be forgotten. It is already part of history and it will be remembered very much like Betamax. Something that failed not because it was bad, but for other reasons.

@Sirsquid@toot.io @gamingonlinux the big Linux gaming revolution is here. We have Steam Deck a lot to thank for.
