@schizanon these grew on me as I got older.
@fatboy next week he’ll ask employees to host Twitter in his garage using the 5 old PCs he’s got going spare.

@kzimmermann this is the way.
And believe it or not, something like this did happen to me when I was starting to use Linux!
I was attempting to dual-boot #EasyPeasy (an #Ubuntu derivative for netbooks waaaaaay back) and didn't know that you could partition and install from the live installer. So instead I ran a tool that did the partitioning from Windows XP. Halfway through I lost power and bricked the HDD. From that point and on, it was Linux or nothing! #coldturkey
@mackaj oh yes. Being able to carry my gaming PC anywhere I go is indeed bliss.
No need to touch grass… ever 😉
If anyone was in any doubt about how the chatGPT/Bard hype was going to go in education, the venture capital company Andreessen Horowitz just dropped its "Five Predictions for the Future of Learning in the Age of AI" and signed off with "We are excited about all the ways AI will change learning, knowledge, education, personal development, and self improvement. If you are building in these categories, reach out" https://a16z.com/2023/02/08/the-future-of-learning-education-knowledge-in-the-age-of-ai/
@darth FWIW I get similar behaviour in Steam Deck. I get 40 FPS stable but entering new room causes a short stutter.
@darth yeah, this game is BIG! I don’t know how long it will carry this momentum for but it is looking like a contender for game of the year right now.

I have a fantastic System76 https://system76.com/ Thelio Mira desktop https://system76.com/desktops/thelio-mira and Gazelle laptop https://system76.com/laptops/gazelle for development and gaming, running Ubuntu 22.04.
The Gazelle is a portable desktop; for example, the battery will only last an hour or so, and it needs to plug in almost all the time. For me, that is fine; I wanted a laptop that mirrors my desktop.
Customer/technical support has been great and very responsive.
This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.
