Yeah, I definitely feel that way too. The same kind of thing happened when we got rid of television too.
All that junk is just designed to suck up attention, and it's amazingly good at suckling up that attention.
Nice thing about losing the big tech component of social networking is that it is less compelling (in the sense of keeping eyes glued to it), but it is much more interesting and easier to put down to go live life.

I hope I can delight your morning with a picture of our little #Sinclair collection. The picture was taken in 2019 at the #HNF (#HeinzNixdorfForum) exhibition in Paderborn at the #DoReCo retro event. The QL was used for bookkeeping in a tea shop in Berlin for many years and is originally labeled above the microdrives.

So this is an unexpected turn of events, mastodon.lol is shutting down and this is the backstory.
Extremists waging a hate campaign against people buying and playing Hogwarts Legacy were reporting them and demanding their admin (Nathan) implement a full instance block. Some have also been spamming players with end game spoilers out of sheer spite.
