I know my followers follow me for my humor, but over time I will start tooting about my other passion: my extensive collection of 19th century sock puppets.

I think the only time I will stop playing is when… I guess when the game dies! I can’t ever recall liking a multiplayer online/LAN game this much!!! Perhaps Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory way back when comes close, but probably not even that!

Did anybody catch the nod to Ars Technica on John Oliver last night

i will reiterate since i am rapidly approaching this point anyway

My accomplishment today was teaching my wife to use ChatGTP to accomplish various tasks.

PS: Also the game looks lots better on the Steam Deck screen than the screenshots ever look!

@BillFairchild cool. I will probably go for this mod eventually, but not for a while. The sticks are still great. I'll wait for the first hint of drift and mod them.

One of my hobbies is RC cars. Specifically love scale 4x4s. The yellow Jeep is mine and it has a fully working winch, a driver and passenger, and the back is full of scale cargo typical of a camping outing including tiny little bottles of coke and wine.

@darth @rockpapershotgun totally understand that 😂 I’ve spent most of my life in England so I’m doing it the other way around. But don’t get me wrong what I’ve seen so far in Atomic Heart is fantastic! I like the idea of an alternative reality where the Soviet Union got to be that futuristic and mighty.

@gpowerf I did! It was an awesome watch. Optic vs Faze is a rivalry for the ages. Also SSG, G1 and Rebellion were entertaining.

@fconch I hope you’ll enjoy his streams. He’s by far my favourite streamer.
