@mrpresidenttom I can see why they did it, but I do wonder if they know that I'm back with GTPChat for most things now too. Because BING is just substandard and genuinely not as useful as it once was.

@mrpresidenttom this is horrible! Its reached the point where I am going to avoid using it until it is fixed. Dealing with an emotional Bing is better than dealing with one that's been lobotomized.

It is simply not useful now! I'm treading on eggshells thinking that anything I say could cause it to storm out.

@hasmis they've already put that magical Microsoft touch and turned something good into something yucky.

went from being capable and fun to being frustrating to use. It went from being likeable but a little neurotic to being a hatable brat who just storms out of the room for no reason whatsoever!

@solarisfire totally understandable. And also, don't you miss the days when you could just borrow the cartridge?

Native support is not only better for players but also for developers. Developers work very hard to balance crossplay and that balancing controller vs. mouse and keyboard is very difficult. Mouse and keyboard users typically have an advantage over controller users in terms of speed and accuracy. Controller users typically rely on aim assist to compensate for their disadvantage. However, aim assist can also create some issues such as unfairness or frustration.

Gyro aiming can help bridge the gap between controller and mouse and keyboard users by providing more precision without relying on aim assist. However, if developers don’t have native gyro aiming support in their games, they lose control over how gyro is balanced in their games. Players who use software or hardware solutions to enable gyro aiming may gain an unfair advantage over other players who don’t use them. This can undermine the game balance.

Therefore, I urge developers to consider adding native gyro aiming support to their games and platforms (erm, yes Microsoft!). It can improve the gameplay experience for both players and developers by providing more precision, comfort and balance. It can also attract more players who are used to gyro aiming already.

Another #Holden Ute, this time in the shape of this very rapid and very yellow #HSV Maloo, which was badged as a #Vauxhall for the UK. The 6.2-litre V8 is an LS - not sure which one but I think basically the same as what went into the then current #Corvette. Driven at the press launch in Yorkshire in 2012. Note the clever registration plate DE51 RED (desired), which Vauxhall always used to put on whichever was the hottest car on their press fleet at the time. #WeirdCarMastodon #davidsdailycar

I keep saying that EVs are the ultimate overlanders because you can generate your own power. You cannot extract oil and refine gasoline in the middle of nowhere! bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-nor

The Hogwarts castle of is the definitive version of the castle. A digital twin of a fictional castle created to a level of detail that neither the books or movies could do.

Mastodon now has over 10 million users! That is twice as many people as the population of Japan if only 5 million people lived in Japan. Incredible.

@ChrisPirillo I was at zero and decided to make up two new questions so I’m at minus 2.

@SpinozasHeresy it isn’t a popularity game. It is all about quality, let’s put it this way, you can go to a concert where 1000 tone deaf, uninterested, untrained musicians play and there’s a fight in the crowd every 5 minutes. Or you can go listen to Mozart, Johnny Cash, and Luciano Pavarotti accompanied by your closest friends. That’s Twitter vs Mastodon.

Whether Mastodon has 5K or 5M users doesn’t matter. You only need to follow about 500 of them to get a pretty rich social media experience that doesn’t suck like ad driven social media.
