Omi, there exists Big Computer Games: Enhanced Edition. How have I not noticed this until now?

@freemo enjoy :) I've missed not going to my second home in the Philippines since the pandemic started :) going again for the first time since then later this year.

@electron_greg A Juniper Ace would be cool, I'd love to play around with Forth :) I've never tried it.

@electron_greg oh wow! I came close to buying one of those kits :D They are so neat. I was mostly interested in the Minstrel 3 ZX81 kit for nostalgia reasons as we had a ZX81 at home when I was a kid.

Testing out my latest version of Super Star Trek on my Mini PET rather than just emulated.

They’re open to return but a lot won’t because Musk completely broke Twitter, there’s no support staff and the support staff keeps getting laid off, and actual engagement on Twitter was already dogshit before Musk wrecked discoverability even further.

An 8th grader named Sailor wants to interview me about the difference between squid and cuttlefish. I have been training for this for years.

@gamingonlinux he's one of the most enigmatic and interesting people I ever met, he quit his dev job to take care of sheep and build fences :) that's why I am asking, is your other arm similarly decorated? :D

It's been a while since I fired up my #MiSTer FPGA, so this evening I finally managed to get around to testing the #BliSTer add-on board. Among other things, this board allows you to plug in many original controllers and use them with the cores available on the MiSTer. Here I'm failing at Impossible Mission 2 on the #Amiga core using my #TheArcade #joystick.

@gamingonlinux OH WOW! I worked with a guy who had a very similar tattoo... serious question, did you ever do any sheep herding in France?

@cerebrate it is the image, it has become an icon to something like the Colt Single Action Army or Winchester 1873 used to be. It symbolizes something... quite what I don't know, an America that I struggle to comprehend I guess.

3 OSs that I remember fondly:

* MS DOS 6.x: I played so many DOS games back in the day, I did how coding projects in Turbo PASCAL and Quick BASIC too and I have lots of fun memories of DOS back then.

* RISC OS: Acorn computers at school used RISC OS and I loved it! It looked so futuristic compared to Windows. Fun memories again.

* Windows 3.11 for Workgroups: I used this version of Windows a lot and even worked during one summer setting up computers at a lab with Windows 3.11 for Workgroups.
