@petetaylor actually yeah! Last night I thought there was some annoying light bleeding but it was the video I watched. For the price it is incredible!!!! Only 60Hz but it was an emergency purchase.
This is the budget replacement TV I had to buy yesterday. 55 inch, and the box is right at the limit of what I could carry size wise in my lil truck.

As of this afternoon I'm officially done with anything Twitter related. Looking forward to sitting back and just watching it all implode.
The problem with buying a new TV is that I’ve seen TVs that cost as much as my truck. So no new TV I can afford ever looks that great… they are all in the acceptable range.
Now that I've finished Garbage Pail Kids I'll try playing it on real hardware. Also I'm going to give The Witcher III a go. I've not played Witcher games before soI am looking forward to it. #gaming

Honestly, I don't understand why anyone would use anything other than dark mode...
I ended up with a 55 inch Hisense 4K HDR TV to replace the one I foolishly broke.
It is OK but it does have some annoying light bleeding during dark scenes. Other than that it is nice, has good colours and is super sharp.
Anyway... I need a good monitor for #gaming :(
One day I will write about the worst trip abroad that I ever had. It involved a ruptured ear drum, a dislocated elbow, and hypothermia.
It was far from optimal!
