This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

@Popehat Not had one in a couple of decades! Thank goodness.
This was entirely predictable. The blue tick had value to journalists and celebrities because it proved their identity, however, now that anyone can buy one for a few dollars it has lost the value it once had. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-65156216
@vwdasher I’d love a classic ambulance converted to a camper van.

Not to brag, but I was spewing out hilariously incorrect information before huge tech companies decided to create AI chatbots and ruin the internet.
@freemo that’s why I started with mentioning the industrial revolution. People are often scared, people live to break frames.
@freemo I’m with you here. We survived the industrial revolution, the introduction of the Internet, the mental barrage of crap that is social media… we will cope with AI.

Last night was the day I loaded #HaloInfinte and I saw that the settings had bugged out again and thought… I can’t deal with this buggy mess. This game plays great! But it is just so painful in other aspects. #gaming

I continue to be astonished at how much better and more smoothly @defcon runs a social media server than a 22 billion dollar company.

It's professional incompetence to represent clients on tech issues if you don't understand the tech at hand. It's even worse to make policy decisions or craft new laws regulating tech without understanding the technical (and social!) dimensions of what you're trying to regulate.
