This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

God damn, the amount of people I'm blocking today!
To review what will get you blocked:
1. Don't try to content police my posts
2. Don't be a concern troll regarding causes that I won't compromise on
3. Don't be a Karen (yes, male Karens exist too)
4. Don't be a reply guy trying to show off expertise that you clearly don't have
5. Don't hijack threads to push your own content
Most people are awesome, but bad actors are definitely increasing.
Playing a bit of #garbagepailkids this morning. I much prefer it with the #MiyooMini controls than on #Xbox or #SteamDeck. #gaming #retrogaming
@asmodai the way I see it Star Wars finished long ago. This Disney stuff has the Star Wars name but it isn’t part of the same story.

You could say I have a #TheC64 obsession. #C64 #retrocomputing #retrogaming
@atomicpoet great little thread 👍 my exposure to Commodore machines came about when we moved to the UK from Venezuela. Back there I gamed on an NES, 2600, and an IBM PC clone. Nowadays the TheC64 introduced me to C64 gaming and coding in a big way.

One of the things I like the best about Mastodon is that people almost universally recognize that there is a human being on the other side of the account they are responding to.
That makes it worth being here even though Mastodon is really, really tiny compared to every other platform I invest time on.
#SteamDeck and Dirt 5 is a perfect combo. You can even get 60 FPS out of it if you are happy with low details.
@ContraryRhombus I took to it easy. But like everything else it requires practise 😃

I like how the British call the letter Z “Zed.” “We’re going to give the last letter of the alphabet the name of your third cousin in West Virginia.”
