@vitaminsludge@mastodon.ie the one I’m driving is a 2022, it comes in 3 bodies: crew cab, extended cab, and single cab. That’s a crew cab (Isuzu calls this double). Depends on use. The one you pictured is like mine, but if you need a longer bed and don’t need regular 4 seats you get the extended or single.

Basically it isn’t a problem, it is a feature depending on how much cargo vs. passenger space you need.

@vitaminsludge@mastodon.ie this is exactly why hardly anyone buys the extended cab.

@vitaminsludge@mastodon.ie it does. Back is for very occasional use.

I have to admit, after driving the extended cab Isuzu for a few days if it was just me and my wife I’d not get a crew cab. This thing is cool with the longer bed it has.

@liroyleshed @vitaminsludge@mastodon.ie most big companies have an effective HR department though, and they are more mindful about employment law. Big companies can have pockets of toxic culture, but you are also more likely to find the mechanisms in it to protect yourself.

@davidwilkins the Diplomat and the Nova have always looked very similar to me. Both could be had with a 327 cu in Chevy motor yet the Nova was an economy car and the Diplomat a luxury car. Admittedly the Diplomat is way bigger! A maxi Nova of sorts.

@liroyleshed I’ve worked for both. And there are pros and cons of both. Sure, large companies move slower, but they have also tend to have reassuring checks and balances that small companies often lack.

What’s more fun? Usually smaller companies.

A small company can do things a bigger company can never do.

Piss off a Canadian enough and they will help you replace your car tire on the side of the road without thanking you.

@OGjester I’m latino and I’ve never heard that phrase, I’m not denying it exists but I’m inclined to think it isn’t widely used.

@youronlyone no. But I’ve spoken to my wife (who is a nurse) and she thinks I should take it.
