This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

I can't even wrap my head around this. Days ago the discussion on /r/piracy was about if it was worth continuing to protest, knowing that reddit likely hated the community and would actually prefer if a piracy-focused community left.
And now they are forcing other mods into control to force it back open.
A piracy subreddit. Devoted entirely to discussing illegal activity. Forced by the company to stay open, because they are that desperate for the traffic.

@britishtechguru I like ChromeOS a lot. With Crostini it is hugely useful, and I have nothing against being able to run Android apps either. The main OS boots up super fast and it gives me Android and Linux containers to use the normal Linux applications I’m familiar with. Sure the triple file system is a bit wacky, but it’s easy enough to share stuff across. And it is tied to Google… but then again that’s what you get with all commercial OSs.
@hackernews@die-partei.social fixed it 👍
@rootfs absolutely! 👍
@nixCraft right now your salary might go up too. Before everyone tries to become a prompt engineer 👨💻

I think I will change my title from "Linux sysadmin" to "Prompt engineering". My prompts are simple tho:
```bash
man -k word
man {command}
info {command}
```
Please don't tell anyone about my secrets. 🤣
@wiredfire honestly not great ☹️
Where is the ☀️? Where is summer? It’s all ☁️ this morning! ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
Going from sunny to cloudy is one of the things that does affect me psychologically. Several days in a row of terribly cloudy weather is fine, but having perfect sunny idyllic days and then clouds gets me to experience loss. And loss never feels good.

Twitter is falling apart. Reddit is falling apart. Facebook fell apart ages ago. Meta is a trashfire. Instagram is baloney. Google can't even search for anything you want anymore.
You know what website still miraculously works?
Wikipedia.
You should donate to keep it that way.
