I can't wait for HP to develop some new AI bullshit to annoy printer users more. 😭

I don't know much at all about , but I've just seen a video of her throwing the microphone at a concert and magically keep singing without even moving her lips! Amazing skills.

Is she the for 2023?

Will the #BBC Mastodon server still be in use after their six-month trial?

@arstechnica this is great news :) no need to throw away controllers when you can easily repair them.

They should improve some of the design though, prying them open can be difficult. I'd prefer screws.

@MostlyHarmless I'd ask them to define home. Or simply respond with this photo and ask "yes, how did you know?"

Hi! 👋 Here's our #introduction.

We're BBC Research & Development; we explore and test new technology to discover how the BBC can best make use of it in the future.

For 100 years our engineers have been at the forefront of developments in broadcasting.

We're now researching how everyone could get TV & radio via the internet – along with all the flexibility and creativity that brings.

5G, AI, next-gen audio, UHD, personal data… we are investigating all these – and more!

@9to5google I accidentally broke my TV a while back and my budget only stretched to a 4K Hisense TV and now I'm super happy with Hisense!

It's not a brand name I knew, but in terms of value for money my current 55 inch Hisense TV has been phenomenal.

@jonn_blanchard I've not watched all your videos, but your Family Basic on the Famicom video is great :) That's the video that finally showed me one of those running.

I will say that I’m quite proud of what I achieved in the Retro community. My YouTube channel and Website are never going to be especially popular, but they get a few views and I’ve done the first videos on a number of systems and produced a lot of information and open source hardware. It’s enough for me.

I used to get annoyed when channels would get more views and grow faster, but I missed the point really - it’s about what you give, not what you get

Who brought in his "Amiga" to play RDZ today, but forgot to bring an audio cable? This guy 👈

Oh well

Very clever — the German ad says "protect wildlife before it's too late."

@gpowerf It can be really accurate when the text is clear. Facebook may be all evil, but their automated alt-text system isn't half bad.

OCRbot is pretty neat! I think Alt text and AI are the perfect combo. We aren't at a keyboard all the time, social media is often used on tiny cheap phones (I least I do!) and having AI deal with the Alt text is the perfect solution to the "I'm don't have a keyboard and large screen" problem.
