After a delay due to playing too much Baldur's Gate 3 here's my latest #SteamDeck lil round-up newsy video: https://youtu.be/UVyvP3qKkvM
Damn! Celeste is one addictive and tough game. 335 deaths and I’m at level 3 or so. Good though. #gaming #gamingonlinux #steamdeck
@retrosteveuk survived! 💪
@darth I hope it’s nothing too bad. Get well soon.
@hannah it’s an incredibly over the top solution, and I approve of that approach.
@gedeonm I’ve had issues with people just jumping into responses with negative attitudes. My solution in Mastodon is block quick.
@tek I have a modern Canon G2000 series that you just refill with ink (no expensive cartridges) that works perfectly with my Linux box over USB and seems to do no crazy crap.
Continuing the trends of newer games coming to older consoles, we have Gunslugs, the new Sega Genesis game. #Gunslugs https://gamesense.co/game/gunslugs/news/discuss/gunslugs-is-now-available-for-the-sega-genesis/
@berkough I see :) Where I grew up we experienced BBC Micros and Acorn Archimedes, both nice machines but they were not common outside school :)
@gpowerf
I'm a big ChromeOS fan, and I've bought into the Google ecosystem. It is interesting... Most of the schools I went to growing up had all Apple computers. But that never translated to the business environment. I learned Windows on my own at home, and then in college. Google is basically doing what Apple did in the 90s, and I don't think it's going to work unless they start to open up the environment beyond the Chromium developer docs.
@retrosponge same. I'm OK using their products for personal stuff that's not essential, I'm happy to use gmail, or ChromeOS but I'm always ready to migrate :)
This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.
