I found it surprising that Microsoft is planning a dedicated gaming box for 2028.

Ubiquitous #gaming is the future, most of humanity has a computer in their pocket, and the power of the cloud and connectivity is constantly improving. In the future you won't think of what device you game much, you will just game.

@retrosponge enjoy :) one thing I found was that the standard capacitive touch sticks don't have a lot of grip. Eventually, I ordered some Skull & Co. thumb grips and those work very well. However, the capacitive part no longer works, so gyro has to be set to always on if you use gyro :)

@nithou I bought one when Google announced that it was going to shut down Stadia. As an affordable box to access Game Pass it is pretty good, performance wise it is great for the price.

Sometimes the videogame press surprises me. My assumption as an observer was that the base model Series S would be hugely popular.
