This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

#Mitsubishi is one of those car brands which is pretty much the walking dead. It’s basically surviving in Europe by selling Renaults, now dead in China, surviving with just a handful of Outlander sales in North America, and only doing well in South East Asia and Oceania with pickup sales but not dominating any market and generally coming after Toyota,Nissan, Ford, and Isuzu.I don’t see how they could last a couple of decades more! And controlling Nissan isn’t much better. https://www.autofun.ph/news/sluggish-sales-and-the-rise-of-local-brands-mitsubishi-motors-to-end-vehicle-production-in-china-73947

And I'm running #ChromeOS 117 now :) #ChromeOS117 #Google
OK. But the cool thing about ChromeOS is that it has built-in Android and Linux containers, and that it is tightly integrated with Android and the rest of the Google stuff.
Microsoft is prepping a web-focused version of Windows designed to challenge Chrome OS's dominance in the educational sector. #microsoft #windows12...

I bought an Embody Chair not very long after they came out, went to look at buying another one and nearly choked on the price. WTH?

First look at the Magnavox all transistor radio I picked up earlier today , mercury battery type is no longer manufactured. It’s a nuisance but not the end. I’ll hook up 4.5v DC using clips to test it and will most likely kludge a battery pack of 3x AAA to get close enough.
Nice to see the instructions inside.

New server, new #introduction! I'm Tim, an Aussie #retrogaming maker and collector. Right now I'm working on some USB adapters for old gaming controllers, which I collect and research - ask me about Advanced Gravis!
I do a lot of #3dprinting and design, and make a lot of little gadgets to make life easier or more fun. I also collect, scan and upload rare manuals for things, and used to be fairly active in the #righttorepair space (and still quietly run my old laptop service manuals site).

Today in UK politics: a man who travels by helicopter tells people who can't afford bus fares that he will save them from being able to walk to the shops.
Entirely serious country.

Digging through old files again and rediscovered that time I ~kind of~ cobbled together a client-server network chat thing with #HyperCard and it ~kind of~ worked. Ish. #RetroComputing
The score board is already on for tonight's game. And I got to see the inner guts of the arena 😀
Nottingham ice arena. This is pretty cool. My daughter trying out soon

Bathtub clean with white vinegar, then wash with water, followed by a rinse with distilled water.
It looks OK-ish except for the dark area around the battery.
Could be the juice seeped under the silkscreen and damaged the traces.😬
