This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Newest addition to the collection are these games on cart for the #commodore #MaxMachine.
Quite chuffed about these.
Look at the amazing artwork.😍
I'm probably going to sell my Max Machine soon, which can only mean one thing.😉

@icedquinn the problem you will have with the C64 is that string manipulation is slow. I did another adventure (in BASIC) where it accepted sentences with the structure of:
[verb] [noun] or
[verb] noun] [preposition] [noun]
It also filtered words so that a sentence like "look at the window please" would be interpreted as "look window".
The issue with this is that string manipulation in BASIC was very slow. I ended up compiling the BASIC to speed it up, which worked better, but at times there was a little lag when interpreting things.

If Twitter is the new Empire, Mastodon is the Rebel alliance?

Is it mastodon etiquette (or whatever the portmanteau for this is) to "favourite" toots as "I like this" but without adding further comment?

Whilst running the RE:Enthused YouTube community I created a bunch of #retrocomputing and #retrogaming resources that are free to use: Firstly the video library, this is free to use footage take from actual retro machines, you can use them as you want without the need for credit (although it's always welcome of course) https://re-enthused.com/free-to-use-video/

@icedquinn here's a quick explanation of the basics. https://github.com/gpowerf/XCBASICAdventureTemplate/blob/main/architecture.txt
I do little bits of C64 coding using XC=Basic. Sadly I don't do it often enough. #retrogaming
And today I’ve been given one of the smallest cars I’ve ever driven. This little Suzuki is what’s keeping me mobile.
