This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

@ChrisPirillo when the goal is purely attention you create a tonne of issues. Algorithmic social media doesn't value "good" attention, it only values attention and it turns out that the easiest attention to foment by an algorithm isn't exactly "good"... it is negative, and divisive.
@JohnnyRobot I can't wait for it to come to the UK!

I’m definitely improving at #haloinfinite and I know this game has many critics. But I’m loving it so much! I’ve been away from FPS games for well over a decade and this is making me like the genre again. #gaming

I feel like we learned that social media shouldn't be bought and paid for by corporations (because money will always corrupt the soace and information)and that it is essentially a tool for us, as we are its product. I like that here it feels more like it did before the days of algorithms and ads. That's how it should be. #Mastodon #twittermigration
@hodgepodge117 I’m so addicted to this game!!! Playing right now.
As I browse around and look at the ActivityPub from my Xbox I cannot help but think that it would be wonderful if Microsoft sold XBoxes that allowed you to use full Windows.
Even though I am not a Windows person at all, these boxes are basically little PCs, it would be wonderful if we could use them for more than just games. #gaming #xbox #'windows #xp
@HamonWry lol :) I love this. This is what the algorithm does to us.
Microwaves have some of the worst user interfaces. #xp

Hey, solo game dev here from the UK making atmospheric narrative driven games. Previously made the fantasy adventure game Guard Duty and last year released my psychological horror Chasing Static, now working on a cool new thing!!
Giving mastodon a try to help ease off my dependency on twitter, let's be pals ❤️
