This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

@LouisIngenthron he is doing a good job of effectively banning himself. He’s his own worst enemy and he’s getting horrible PR and he doesn’t know it.

@mammasaurusrex There is no best, they all have pros and cons:
The Switch has a variety of systems to choose from at a variety of prices as well as a great library. It has affordability, portability, and a kid friendly library with lots of variety going for it. Minus points include the quality of the controllers, which is poor and prone to drift.
Xbox has Game Pass which is great value as well as the Series S which is a very affordable console.
PlayStation has exclusives, which might matter less when kids are concerned but it is going to be a great system for the whole family to enjoy.

For New Users, there are three time lines:
🏠 Home: Which has your posts and the people you follow
🧑🤝🧑 Local: Which has posts from people on your instance.
🌎 Federated: Which has posts from across the fediverse (other instances). They are mostly follows of all of the people on your instance but there's a few more thrown in for good measure.
@criticalfail@nerdculture.de the music doesn't help on this front
@InternetOfGames@awscommunity.social I;m fine with either. Both are boxes that play games.
@InternetOfGames@awscommunity.social lol! I rushed out and bought an Xbox.
@InternetOfGames@awscommunity.social I've played so many great indie games that I think that's where the innovation is at it's most vibrant.
@InternetOfGames@awscommunity.social very true. I'm specially impatient and will give up quickly :(
I can't believe I'm saying this after such a rocky start. But I'm starting to get into #SonicFrontiers . After a very slow start it does get better.
@zx81adventures we are old and battle-hardened.
I'm glad to see that much of the old #retrogaming community that was once on Twitter is now here.
@ChrisPirillo my choice is iOS for daily driver and Android for fun and games.
I really want a lightweight 4x4 hybrid pickup with an 800cc engine and a 7000km range! Oh! it is £150k! holy shit the indie category for the game awards is totally stacked.
The only game I'm NOT familiar with is Norco.
Good luck to all of these devs! In some regard they all deserve the reward but as we all know there can only be one.
