This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Alexa, Luna, and Kindle teams impacted by Amazon lay offs. #technology #tech #amazon #luna #cloudgaming #xp https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-63631877?at_medium=RSS&at_campaign=KARANGA
@darth it is such a beautiful game graphically that I fancied playing it on a GFN instance rather than Xbox.
@darth Mmm... the whole government operative isn't doing much for me if that's what it is. I'll take a wait-and-see approach. I already repurchased the game after the Stadia shutdown.

@Muskelsmurf@masto.ai it is. There was a tweet about Amazon lay offs and the comments were simply facepalming. Yes, facepalming is indeed a word.

I am working on a fairly standard PC build (AMD CPU, Nvidia GPU, a bunch of SSDs that I had lying around)
Ubuntu installed in minutes the first time and works great
Windows 10 and 11 are both crashing midway through the install process and I can’t figure out why
Somehow we’ve gotten to the point that Linux is easier than Windows
@karlequin the obvious choice is 3 months' pay and walk out the door free from his power trip.
