Astronomer in Twitter limbo over 'intimate' meteor

I am not sure what is wrong with the image shown but thankfully here we don't have to put up with nonsense such as this.

I've just made a quick-and-dirty FIFA World Cup Viewer for Atari 800XL with FujiNet's json parser. #Atari #FujiNet #OpenLigaDB #8bit

What gets me about this is how badly wrong people are consistently trying to use Birdsite.

It is a *micro* blogging platform.
Threads are useful for all sorts, but planning long-form text to a microblogging system shows a failure to understand the platform (or the web).

That Twitter is encouraging it is worse (if unsurprising).

Microblogging: Twitter, Mastodon

Blogging (or Macroblogging): Wordpress, or other full blogging platform

Somewhere in the middle: Tumblr

Is someone chopping onions in here?

I've requested an archive of my three most important Twitter accounts. I have a feeling that if Twitter starts having issues, the **Request Archive** feature probably won't be a priority. 🤣

Right now @Raspberry_Pi #Pico is made in the UK in the #Sony factory in Wales, right alongside our "big" boards, and in Japan. Soon it'll also be #MadeInKenya by Gearbox Europlacer, https://pcb.africa, in Nairobi. #RaspberryPi #RaspberryPiPico #RP2040 #Kenya #Africa

The EU is on Mastodon:

Well, I think I'm in a pretty good place with my restoration. I've tested everything and it's working great!

I may do a retrobright on the case once warmer weather returns, but for now, it's off the bench and over to its new place of honor!

Why is it called "crossposting" and not "tootpaste"?

This popped up on my timeline today, a really nice memory for me, Nate playing Chuckie Egg for the first time.

Made all the better by the fact that he still digs those silly old games his dad likes & is now making his own games.

Just heard a new term: “Trumpster Fire”

So very apt.
