This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

I have just changed the ToC for #QOTO.. We replaced the phrase "free speech" With the more appropriate principle of "Academic Freedom". We also changed some subtle wording to be more explicit.
In practice our rules have not changed in any meaningful way. I may make some more tweaks soon.

Full Throttle released 1995 for MS-DOS & Mac OS and 2017 received a HD remaster.
I remember upgrading my 486 PC 4MB RAM to 8MB for £80 just so I could meet the requirements of this game. Yes, that's megabytes!
The superb full motion video and action sequences allowed for up close and personal cut-scenes while also featuring a unique interactive system for talking to characters and using objects. Even featured Mark Hamill as Adrian Ripburger.

Whilst our little instances are too small to appear on the JoinMastodon page, we still adhere to the covenant that those sites do, including giving 3 months' notice of the instance closing so our users have time to migrate
@EighthLayer I’m generally not too keen on the retro term for gaming, despite the fact that I do use it. I see gaming as having happened in periods, eg: pong style games, single screen arcade games, platform games, early 3D games, etc…
