This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

@stevepdp@mstdn.social I tend to like mechanical for games, and they just feel like nice heavy quality bits of kit that’s fun to own. But for typing I’ve become accustomed to low travel keys thanks to modern laptops. I use this a lot:
@LoveRetroBTW F355 Challenge. So much so I bought two copies just in case the disk ever got damaged on one of them. Love that game!!!

Here's an interesting question: Can you attend this weekend's #EmacsConf with GNU #Emacs itself? Be sure to attend these great presentations December 3 and 4: https://emacsconf.org/2022/talks/ And if you connect via Emacs, let us know!
Is anyone a fan of these old MS membrane keyboards? It is interesting that it comes with such a large health warning too. A friend gave this to me, I don’t have a plan to use it unless I do a retro build… #xp

I’m so confused. Santa has always been Asian. I met him in the internment camps, and he was definitely Japanese.
@Rachael wow! That’s very nice.

@hearthborn I can envisage a dedicated server for celebrities to use or even for someone (or group) really big a single server for them and their fans.
Imagine a Mastodon BTS server, I’m sure the fans would love that.
