@anthony no it is because Twitter needs TikTok more than TikTok needs Twitter. TikTok content is addictive and it keeps people in. Twitter needs the TikTok drug more than TikTok needs the Twitter dross.
@alienghic I used to think Elon was smart. Now I’m fully convinced he’s a mouth breathing imbecile.
You can't ban links to TikTok or YouTube videos, because that would ban embedded videos.
You can't ban links to TikTok or YouTube accounts, because you need to keep those creators on the site. This is the point I made last night about @taylorlorenz, except much, much dumber.
@coderCyclist this doesn’t keep people in. This pushes people away.
From The Birdsite
@Lazarou he is the world’s wealthiest hypocrite.
Meanwhile, over on the Birdsite:
Teflon Mask and Crew be like, "We know that many believe that our cutting off our own nose was some sort of spiteful, petty overreaction carried out in a fit of pique at the recognition of our own face; not so! And to prove it, watch now as we cut off our ears and lips, as well."
@DBFig Twitter is no longer compatible with humans. It’s best to give up on it entirely.
@mmasnick the speed run of the failing 90s message board strategies continues.
@mmasnick this isn’t locking us in, this is pushing us out! We don’t have to stay if he’s making the place hostile.
Bird site
@JJFlash I may just create a bot that tweets random characters. Waste his resources on nothing.
@taylorlorenz it isn’t a usable site anymore. I gave up on it today.
@gamingonlinux he is a hypocrite.
This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.
