Not that I should wade into the quotepost debate, but has someone already proposed an opt-in feature for it? That is, your posts could only be quoted if you toggle the option first? Would that satisfy both parties? Doesn't have to be all or nothing, I can't imagine. I have no quotehorse in this race.
