This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Leaving the birdsite, mental health
I actually received some angry emails and a few people unsubscribed from my YouTube channel after I started mentioning Mastodon in the videos and removing all links to my (deleted) Twitter account. It seems a handful of peeps takes it very personally/politically. On the other hand, my mental health status has improved significantly ever since I ditched the bird and its toxicity. Totally worth it. 😅

More #SunMicrosystems hotness. SunBlade 1000 booted into #Solaris with that gorgeous CDE login screen.
Notice that the Sun logo is illuminated when the system is powered on.

Looking through my favourites in my photo album.
My Sun Ultra 24 with that gorgeous #SunMicrosystems bootsplash and 3 #Iomega Jaz drives hooked up.
I’ve since replaced the guts of that system, so no more Sun bootsplash, sadly.
@kfury switch it on and off! We could do with a reboot.

A newly-formed Tesla union was shadowbanned on Twitter.
Hmmm... Elon Musk is both the CEO of Tesla and Twitter 🤔
What an odd coincidence.
There cannot be a conflict of interest here!
Or can there?

Canonical going public doesn't change things. I really don't see how this spells the end for Ubuntu. Like, you already put your faith in a business. What if Canonical shut it's doors tmw? You'd be in the same boat. Luckily it's still just Linux and there are tons of distros and other services to use. (I use Arch btw) #linux #ubuntu #techrant

Going through the small cupboard, I think these Japanese Dreamcast games are next for the chopping block.
@lowqualityfacts I’ve heard the Welsh government is banning cars and breeding walruses so that Welsh people can ride a walrus to work.

Hey #StarWars fans... If you're looking to save on Star Wars literature like Marvel graphic novels, High Republic volumes or even entire Omnibuses, I literally saved more than
50% on dozens of Darth Vader & Doctor Aphra books by getting used copies from ThriftBooks.

An old basement is the absolute worst place to have a darkroom. But I’m so grateful I have one.
@masto as a generic daily OS it is great!
Hogwarts spoiler… minor
