So now that Microsoft and Nintendo have signed this deal can we look forward to Mario on PC too? ;)

@ChrisPirillo @DarkWraithLord@mastodon.social Chris you've had a long career and right now you seem to be having fun and being yourself. It's nice to see that, someone really enjoying life doing what they want to do.

Thinking of doing something big? Along the lines of reviving things like Gnomedex?

The thing with you Chris is that you have your name. People my age remember you well and with enough marketing push you could do like an online only Gnomedex that's very successful.

UK people! Did you know that you can listen to audiobooks for free? Legally!

Go to your library with any proof of address and get a library card. Then register for one or both of these services:

1. Borrow Box - has an impressive collection of audiobooks, including very recent releases borrowbox.com
2. Libby - actually an international service. A vast collection of audiobooks (and ebooks, although we can't send to Kindle yet in the UK)

All fixed up! From trash to treasure with this breadbin C64. This has been a most satisfying repair. New RAM and a KERNAL ROM replacement. Keys and case washed.

@mackaj it is an incredible game. For me second only to RDRII in terms of open world games.

is one of the best purchases I ever made! Back in the days I enjoyed being able to game on any screen at home easily and I set up ethernet for all key screens for the purpose. Steam Deck is a good alternative as I can take the hardware into any room.

I'm still using GFN and Xbox, but a fair bit less now that I have the Deck. If I ever need more performance GFN or Xbox are the way...

This is what I had been looking for in and I finally got to see it :) The inner workings of Hogwart's clock.

Handheld Linux machine that looks like a classic Blackberry with a game controller jammed in as well.

Has that real mid 2000s feel. I like it. Or rather I want to like it. Call me a screen snob but 640x480 on a 3.5” screen doesn’t feel like enough pixels for modern interfaces.

i have one request for all of those who have said i've helped them with their career choice and that is CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME WITH MINE

@ChrisPirillo I Googled Chris and I think you have to get Chris Hemsworth to change his name, he’s too much of an SEO challenge 😉

I got to level 25 and learned Alohomora level II in

I also found one of the rooms in the castle from the books and movies I had been looking for :) Happy bunny! Good night of on

I have 3 kids who have grown through travel, and have experienced 12+ years in travel soccer youth sports. 5 days a week they train; the other 2 days are typically playing games.

I’ve observed the behavior of parents, coaches, and kids getting progressively worse: rude, insulting other, fist fight, even police being called. I feel bad about that. Behavior I never believed could be possible where 10 year olds are playing.

After seeing the #MastodonButton tag a few weeks ago, I was inspired to #3dprint some pins for my lunch bag to show off the different #foss tools I proudly use. So, I used Inkscape and FreeCAD to model these pins from SVGs scaled to match the pinbacks I could buy.

There are more I should make, but this seemed like a good start.
