This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

@billgoats I've seen the backs for medium format cameras :) I just wanted something for cheap 35mm ones. :D
@billgoats I once thought that creating a sensor that's shaped like a 35mm roll of film would be a great way of turning film cameras into digital ones.

Meetings are an extremely efficient way of wasting everyone's time.
Employees like WFH, and startups can win by offering flexibility. #remotework #remote #workfromhome #wfh https://www.bbc.com/worklife/article/20230613-why-hybrid-return-to-office-mandates-arent-as-flexible-as-they-seem

I hope what happened to Twitter and more recently Reddit will make people reconsider using these big corporate platforms to host their communities.
So many forums and blogs have disappeared over the years because people flocked to a handful of very big sites. It seems nice and convenient for a while, but it's a huge risk as you have very little control over how these companies manage their product. When they mess up, there's very little you can do.
Cutting down news consumption is hugely beneficial. I can’t recomend it enough.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-65880999
I’m slowly improving at #BTB on #HaloInfinite
I used to come dead last and be killed a lot. #gaming

Okay, but but does LinkedIn really want to know how I feel about the Kardashians?
I’m on a long walk and parts of #Nottingham still feel like a little village.
@MeanwhileinCanada hahaha. I need this for the back of my truck 😅 I could follow it up with “nice Audi BTW!” it’ll work 97% of the time.
Land Cruiser returning to the USA?!? 😁 enjoy USA!

Btw with me leaving #Reddit I need a new #meme source. Can someone help me find an alternative that's NOT 9gag, NOT owned by Meta and NOT TikTok?
Bonus points of course if it is on the #Fediverse haha
@alternativeto honestly the sole reason to use Edge is to occasionally use Bing Chat.
Chromecasting to a TV from a laptop works so nicely 😄 that’s the toot
For those who know I live in #Nottingham
It’s all fine here, round my parts there was no way of knowing anything happened unless you turned on the news.
@Gjallarhornet@mastodon.nu I've been there a few times :D it used to be the perfect cone before some of the more recent eruptions.
@stevoooo My Mac is a work laptop too. And I'm not convinced I'd get one either unless I really needed the umph of Apple silicon for some reason.
@stevoooo honestly, ChromeOS + Intel. Best home laptops ;)
