Amazing. When I checked this story (about #Musk getting #booed on stage at a #Chappelle gig) a couple of hours ago it had 3 embedded #Twitter videos of the booing on it. Since then Musk has had all 3 removed and had the account that posted them deleted —not suspended, deleted—completely.
There's no longer any pretence of it being a free, pluralistic platform.

I was a Twitter addict and huge aficionado of it for a good decade. I thought in tweets, I dreamed in tweets.
As a place where magic happened it was unsurpassed for quite some time.
I'm not here to diss it.
I like the potential of this place, I hope I can learn and contribute here too.
So what music shall I stick on this morning?
Then there is the game where everyone in your team is way worse than everyone in your opposing team. This makes you feel like you are battling 4 against 1. #xp #haloinfinite
Then there are games where you sucked! You just didn't get on well at all and lost the will to play or live. #xp #haloinfinite
There are many types of Halo games. Firstly the sort of game where you are better than everyone else, this game makes you feel awesome. #xp #haloinfinite
PS: when I say variety I mean this is closer to Roblox than a mere map editor. This is game creation rather than map creation. #xp
The variety in #HaloInfinite custom games is already pretty amazing! Sadly it isn't super full of players. I don't know if that will change but I hope it will as it has so much potential! #xp
Honestly folks, if Twitter were a Mastodon instance we would have defederated them.

While following a lot of people can populate your Home feed significantly, sometimes people (like me) end up boosting a lot and that can unexpectedly hinder your own experience.
So if you like someone's specific posts and don't want to follow their boosts, you can go to their profile under the [...] button, and select the "Hide boosts from account" button.
There is no algorithm on Mastodon. You have ownership and control over every filtering decision instead of some robot.
This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.
