Just realised I’ve been in games development now for 22 years and (I think!) I’ve had a game released on each PlayStation and Xbox console. 🤯

My first game was Disney’s Atlantis The Lost Empire from back in 2001 on the PS1 & the latest will be Catan Console Edition that releases at the end of this month for current and previous gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Sometimes I wish I was a Chinese spy balloon... Just floating gently, going wherever the breeze takes me.

By the way, with Musk already cutting off @Tibor's Movetodon, it's likely that Debirdify and Fedifinder are not long for this world. Even if Musk doesn't kill them immediately, they'll likely die when the API fees kick in next week.

@gpowerf @Granite I was *just* having this conversation with @beyondperil last night after our livestream. On one hand, we shouldn't be crying over spilled milk; on the other, it's easy to see what Stadia got *right*...and was largely ignored by gamers. I have used the GFN feedback, several times, to recommend they look to what Stadia did correctly and try to emulate that, including removing friction for casual gamers to sign in and just friggin' PLAY.

I don’t like that we’re slowly getting to the point where only a handful of big games will survive because players are entrenched. On the other hand, maybe studios will stop chasing GaaS and make unique experiences again.
