Sunday punday.

So I found that there's an old version of Cygwin which runs on #Windows98. It's been super handy!

It's great being able to use ssh and rsync files over from my NAS, plus I'm way more productive on a bash prompt than the default DOS one.

I even got Neofetch to run. Granted, it looks like some things like the window manager are hard-coded (Definitely not using Aero on Win98 😅).

The only thing not working is MinTTY. I'm going to try and build that from source next.

When you really need a dose of allegory with a moral at the end, but you're in a huge hurry...

Nintendo may not drop the prices of their games often, regardless of whether it is permanent or not, but third-parties have absolutely no problem with doing it if the time is right. #MonsterHunterStories2WingsOfRuin https://gamesense.co/game/monster-hunter-stories-2-wings-of-ruin/news/discuss/capcom-announces-permanent-price-drop-for-monster-hunter-stories-2-wings-of-ruin/

My favorite people don't use Twitter anymore, which is why I'm here. @ChrisPirillo makes that point and more in this video.

Would anyone happen to be able to recommend a programmer who is comfortable with programming JRPGs and DOS? It is a freeware project though, so there is no payment.
