This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Never ask a lawyer if it's OK to do something (it's always "no"). Ask them to explain the risks in doing so.
Never ask a programmer if something is possible (it's always "yes"). Ask them to explain what is involved doing something.
Never ask a doctor if something will make you better (it's always "maybe"). Ask them to explain the conditions under which a treatment/procedure will work and what could go wrong.

Back in the 90s when PC's and Macintosh were the main computers people used, I would see old 8 bit computers at thrift stores super cheap, but never bought any.. That was old tech.. Now today, now that I've gotten into collecting these things and they cost a fricking mint, I wished I'd known better. lol I remember literally tossing a working C64 system with the commodore 1701 monitor. *sigh* #retrocomputing
