This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Holding a presentation on retro game development tonight at a pub in Bucharest.
Wasn't sure if the public here were into retro games then I saw this:
Perfect!

Last time I checked out Mastodon was in 2017.
Hallo. I make games for Linux, on Linux. Recently added macs to the list. And retro hardware.
Heck I even got to a point where I have employees to help me make stuff.

I suspect docker removing the free tier is going to absolutely devistate them. All the open-source software, which is what dominated docker, is now scrambling to find alternatives.
Also since docker treates docker hub as first class for fetching images I suspect people will move off docker entierly.
It is going to be pretty crazy for the open source community too having all the images they depend on just disapear. Dev chains everywhere are going to break...
I miss the times when it was the norm and not a rarity for banks to offer vault storage or safe deposit boxes. 😔 I know, there are companies that provide affordable alternatives but still. This was a common service that just vanished!

I'm usually hesitant to share too much about my son, Ripley, or his situation but our situation changed a bit last week. Ripley is about 18 months old and we've known since he was born that he would need a #KidneyTransplant once he was big enough. Until last week, our plan was for him to get one of mine. Unfortunately, I was disqualified, so we're on the hunt for a kidney! If you or someone you know would have any interest in being screened, you can visit https://ripley.love (1/2)
And now Lady Gaga! Always Remember Us This Way 🥹 God I love this song.
What? They lowered the volume at the cafe when Shania Twain was playing! That’s it boycott!!!!!!
The new #RetroFighters controller is quite peculiar. On the one hand it is an ergonomic pad for the original Xbox with hall effect sticks and triggers, this is fine. But why no compatibility with modern XBox? Why only Switch and PC? Specially when it has no gyro and this kind of puts a stop to it being used for FPS games in Switch and PC which have gyro aiming games. I dig this thing! I have an original Xbox still, but it is peculiar… #gaming #controllers #xbox #switch
I know now everyone is a fan, but I think e-book readers with their E-ink displays and associated ultra-low battery consumption are amazing technology!
This abandoned church was sadly demolished. I think it would have made for a very classy roller disco venue. https://www.abandonedamerica.us/our-lady-of-the-rosary

For every 4 terrible games where I absolutely suck I’m having one game like this. I’m starting to think that #haloinfinite ‘s skill matching is broken. Some lobbies are full of people way over my skill level and some way below. #gaming

The problem is not that "AI" will replace coders.

This is the golden age of satire.
That's the good news.
