One of the things I like the best about Mastodon is that people almost universally recognize that there is a human being on the other side of the account they are responding to.

I like how the British call the letter Z “Zed.” “We’re going to give the last letter of the alphabet the name of your third cousin in West Virginia.”

I just spent 15 minutes reporting bots that were trying to disguise themselves as K-Pop fans.

There were hundreds of these accounts.

Perhaps some of them were human, but the “follow me and win cash” was too slimy to ignore.

Several folks wondered if Mastodon’s recent growth was due to bots. Not all of it, but it’s definitely a factor.

As a new Sega Saturn owner / player, I've really enjoyed picking up a few Japanese import games at my local retro game shop (the amazing Experience Share in Alameda, California) - the import titles are fun, come in standard-sized CD cases, and have been significantly less expensive than US releases.

Anyone have recommendations for English-friendly Saturn games I should be looking for?
