This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

There’s one unhealthy food I can never give up. Fried chicken! 🤤

Introverts are just extroverts who’ve realized that most people suck.
Andrew Tate case
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-65959097
#AndrewTate charged with rape and human trafficking.
I don't understand the people who defend this man. Have you not heard what he said about how he ran his "business", how he manipulated women, how he scared them, how he bullied then? He described a human trafficking operation!
This guy fully incriminated himself! He confessed on camera!

My thoughts on the whole Meta debacle are that the public absolutely requires commons where discourse can occur without the undue influence or ownership of those who are in power or already own everything.
People will find a path towards the freedom to talk and organize without repression or manipulation, whether that path includes Mastodon or something else.
No internet gathering place is, nor should be, permanent lest they grow into corruption or uselessness.

I’m seeing bits and pieces of rants by various server admins in the Fediverse that are upset at the idea of big companies building ActivityPub compatible services.
This is really weird to me given many of us have been advocating for social network interop from the OpenSocial days but that got distracted by widgets/gadgets.
This comes across more like gate keeping in the same way nerds don’t want their favorite bands or hobbies to go mainstream.
BMW giving up on dual clutch gearboxes. Thank goodness! I like BMWs, I like them a lot! But the dual clutches were some of the most frustrating things ever created! https://www.autoblog.com/2023/06/19/bmw-done-with-dual-clutches-almost-done-with-manuals/
I've given up and I'm going to the doctor next week. This chronic hip injury is getting to me... :( my adductor is super weak.

@gpowerf My favorite Famiclone is the Retro AVS. It's an FPGA Famiclone that doesn't cost $500+ and is constantly available, and it looks terrific. My *ONLY* complaint is that it doesn't have Composite output.

@gpowerf Nothing comes close to the convenience. Not even steam deck
Pretty much as soon as the ramp down of #Stadia was announced I moved to an #XboxSeries console and #GamePass.
I've enjoyed it, it is OK. But I don't feel the monthly excitement of new releases the same, and the Stadia social media team was second to none! I don't see anything like that from Microsoft :(
I miss you Stadia. #cloudgaming
The world needs more #Famiclones :) life is better with a new #Famiclone. #retrogaming

I want to expand more on the comedy of errors that led to the eviction of Twitter from their Boulder office.
The story that leads up to this building even existing is hilarious, so here goes...
Maybe I’m misinterpreting what he means, but it kind of sounded like “damn! People can’t be assholes at work anymore”. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65942440
