This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Linux surpasses the Mac among Steam gamers
It's not the year of Linux on desktop; it's the year of Linux on a handheld.

Most technology has got better and better over time. But not printing, printers have gotten less and less convenient over time.

The antique tech of the airline industry continues to fascinate me. This dot matrix printer was printing who-knows-what for a solid 20 minutes while we waited for our flight! 👀

I really think I’m going to need a new wallpaper for my laptop. The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado looks amazing! Specially in this entry level trim. Sadly I know the usual rule, if it is Japanese and nice I know we won’t get it here in the UK.
Got to move 😂 I hope the next Fortuner will follow this styling. Asia, here I come! I’m moving 😉
This vent + cup holder fitting is genius. It keeps your drink cold, thanks Isuzu 😄 I still don’t know why they can’t divert some cold air to half of the glove compartment though.

Noooooo! Wilko is useful for small bits of hardware locally when I can’t be bothered to drive to a large out of town hardware store like B&Q https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-66395824

One of the machine's I've been after for ever was the Apple IIc, probably after seeing it in use on a beach in the film 2010 the year we make contact by Arthur C Clarke.
Well, I managed to get one really cheap. It arrived today & it's in excellent condition.
It's an NTSC machine but with a modern PSU so it works in the UK. Also means the composite output is colour (PAL is mono).
Now I need to learn how to use it #retroComputing #retroApple #apple2c

Disappointed that this Apple developer demographics survey cuts off at “10 years or more” because I don't get a chance to show off how old I am.
